The 2016 Student Life and Leadership Awards recognize the accomplishments of student leaders, faculty and staff advisors, organizations and programs that have made an impact on the BW community and beyond.

The following area students were named to the 2016 Spring Dean's List at the University of Mount Union.

Youngstown State University student entrepreneurs, inventors and artists presented their research over the last academic year at the 27th Annual QUEST.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the Fall Semester 2015 at Baldwin Wallace University according to Stephen D. Stahl, Provost. Students who receive at least a 3.6 GPA for seven or more graded hours in a single semester are named to the Dean's List.

Miami University awarded 932 degrees to students during fall commencement exercises Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, in Millett Hall. Miami University is a public university located in southwestern Ohio, offering more than 100 degree programs in humanities, science, engineering, business, education and fine arts. Students with more than one listing have earned additional degrees or honors.

Approximately 1,800 students have made the Spring Semester 2015 Dean's List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University.

Coastal Carolina University has announced that 560 students have made the President's honor list for high academic achievement for the Spring Semester 2015.

More than 400 graduates were awarded degrees for spring during The University of Findlay's commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 2.

Students were honored recently by The University of Findlay for their dedication to working as a student employee during the University's annual Student Employee Recognition Luncheon.

More than 1,100 students were eligible for degrees at Coastal Carolina University's commencement May 9 at the HTC Center. Michael J. Gerson, a nationally syndicated political columnist and former aide to President George W. Bush, told graduates not to seek a sense of purpose in fame or worldly success. He advised students to "know who you are, be open to grace, and find the freedom to live lightly and generously." Six students were given the President's Award for having a 4.0 grade point average.

More than 80 Youngstown State University junior, senior and graduate students were recently inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, one of the oldest and most respected national academic honor societies. The mission of Phi Kappa Phi is to recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others.

The Baldwin Wallace University Center for Innovation & Growth (CIG) is pleased to announce the appointment of the 2015-16 CIG Student Fellows. The students, representing 24 majors, will spend the upcoming academic year exploring innovation, entrepreneurship, and values-based leadership.

More than 300 Youngstown State University students, faculty and alumni were honored at the first YSU Honors College Recognition Ceremony. The event celebrated students and mentors for their accomplishments in Honors.

The following people recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.
